Unleash your creativity with ArtClash, a unique platform designed to inspire daily drawing, sketching, and cartooning. Unlike Sketchbook, Photoshop, Procreate, or Infinite Painter, ArtClash is a work in progress, with the first game completed and more exciting features on the horizon.

ArtClash is a one-man project crafted to help my wife and me practice our art every day, and we want to encourage others to join us on this creative journey. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting, ArtClash offers a fun and engaging way to hone your skills.

Current Features:

• Paint: Sketch, paint, and blend to create stunning artwork.
• Import Images: Use images as references or paint over them to enhance your creations.
• Topics and Constraints: Choose from a variety of topics and optional constraints like time limits, color limits, or canvas sizes. Earn points when others correctly guess your drawings!
• Difficulty Levels: Six levels of difficulty, ranging from single words to complex combinations of up to five different words (nouns, verbs, places, timer periods).
• Free Draw: Unleash your imagination with free drawing and share your masterpieces with the community.
• NSFW Flag: Option to view or filter out images marked as NSFW.

Early Access Issues/Bugs:

• Ugly UI: The current Unity UI is challenging, but we're planning to switch to XAML for a more responsive and visually appealing interface.
• Performance: Keep canvases under 1024x1024 on lower-end devices to avoid slowdowns. We're working on optimizing the GPU-accelerated brush engine and exploring other engines for better performance.

Upcoming Features:

• More Games: Starting with a "telephone" game using drawings.
• Social Features: Enhanced social interactions, including changing avatars, commenting on projects, friending, and following others.
• Improved UI and Brush Engine: Addressing current bugs for a smoother experience.
• Selection and Transform Tools: Marquee selection and transform tools for more precise editing.
• More Brushes: Expanding the brush library and allowing users to add and share their own brush textures.
• Enhanced Layer System: Improved layer functionality, including locking transparent pixels and masking.
• Developer Communication: A feedback system for feature requests, bug reports, and community voting on future changes.
• Moderators: Community moderators to handle flagged content and maintain a positive environment.
• Topic and Constraint Submissions: Allow users to submit new topics and constraints for community use after moderation.
• Full Image Editing Suite: Eventually, ArtClash will include full image editing, animation, scripting, and game/storyboard prototyping capabilities.

While ArtClash is not yet a full image editing suite due to performance issues with large textures and the lack of comprehensive editing features, it is optimized for social competition and encouragement.
