Potenza Drive is a cutting-edge application designed to push your system to its limits, demanding up to 140 parameters per second from your car to deliver real-time sound effects. This unique tool is perfect for testing your system's performance, especially when using an OBD-II ELM327 adapter.
The experience you get with Potenza Drive can vary significantly depending on your setup, which includes your mobile device, the type of OBD-II ELM327 adapter (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or USB), your vehicle's OBD-II protocol, and your sound system. For a comprehensive understanding of what you need, check out our detailed list of requirements at https://www.potenzadrive.com/requirements.
To ensure your system is up to the task, or to determine if you need to upgrade certain components, we recommend running the following tests:
TEST 1 (NORMAL COMMUNICATION):
Conduct a regular speed communication test to see how your system performs under standard conditions.
TEST 2 (FAST COMMUNICATION):
Perform the fastest allowed type of communication. Note that this is only supported by certain vehicle OBD-II protocols.
It's important to know that the ISO 15765-4 CAN protocol is the only OBD-II protocol capable of delivering up to 140 parameters per second, provided your OBD-II adapter has a high-quality chip. Older protocols might only manage 4 parameters per second in the worst-case scenario.
**THE NEXT GENERATION IS HERE. Sound to your ears.**
