There are 6 types of blocks:

Red blocks cannot be rotated or moved.
Green blocks can be placed anywhere but cannot be rotated.
Blue blocks can be rotated but are stuck in one place.
Orange blocks can both be rotated and placed anywhere.
Purple blocks can be moved only horizontally or vertically but cannot be rotated.
Brown blocks can be moved only horizontally or vertically and can be rotated.
