Dive into the fun of StopotS, the popular categories game that's also known as Scattergories, "City Country River," or simply Stop. It's an engaging way to test your creativity and quick thinking. Here's how it works: at the start of each game, various categories are selected—think along the lines of Names, Animals, Objects, and more. Once the categories are set, a random letter is drawn, kicking off a new round. Your challenge? Fill in each category with a word that begins with that letter. The race is on to complete your list, and the first to finish shouts "STOP!" halting everyone else's progress.

After the stop, it's time for a group review. Players vote on the validity of each answer. Score 10 points for each unique and correct answer, 5 points if someone else had the same answer, and zero if your word doesn't fit the bill. The game continues round after round until you reach the predetermined limit.
