Gameplay:

Tongits uses a standard 52-card deck (no jokers). Three players compete to create sets and runs, minimizing unmatched cards.

• Sets: Three or four cards of the same rank (e.g., 7♥, 7♣, 7♦).
• Runs: Three or more consecutive cards of the same suit (e.g., 4♥, 5♥, 6♥). Aces are low.

Game Flow:

1. Dealing: Thirteen cards to the dealer, twelve to others. The remaining cards form the stock.
2. Drawing: Draw a card from the stock or discard pile (only if you can meld it).
3. Melding: Expose sets or runs on the table. At least one meld is required to "open" your hand. A set of four can be melded face down.
4. Laying Off (Sapaw): Add cards to existing melds. This blocks the next player's draw.
5. Discarding: Discard one card face up.
