Hands-On with Low-Budget Repairs: Beta Testing Starts Soon
Low-Budget Repairs, a 1990s-themed repair simulator, is finally opening its doors (or rather, patching its leaky ones) for beta testing! Gray2RGB has announced a two-week Steam beta test starting March 3rd. While spots are limited, interested players can apply for a chance to experience this uniquely chaotic game firsthand. The beta will conclude with a bug report and feedback questionnaire.
The game throws you into the wild world of ultra-budget home repairs in 1990s Poland. Expect duct tape fixes, haphazard paint jobs, brick-sealed windows, and cat doors fashioned from sawed-off doors. The only constant? The ever-present beer supply keeping spirits (and possibly the questionable repairs) afloat.
Your duties as a low-budget repairman include:
- Tackling diverse repair jobs: From rescuing flooded bathrooms to overhauling entire apartments.
- Mastering the art of cheap fixes: Think paint thinning, level-less tiling, and the occasional furniture-out-the-window disposal.
- Shopping for bargain-bin tools: Prepare for hammers that break easily and drills with a penchant for mid-job explosions.
- Ignoring customer desires: Payment is guaranteed, regardless of the (lack of) quality.
