January 28 Is Going to Be a Big Day for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Fans
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 2 Arrives January 28th
Treyarch has officially announced the launch date for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 2: Tuesday, January 28th. This marks the end of Season 1, a 75-day run making it one of the longest seasons in Call of Duty history.
While specifics on Season 2's content remain under wraps, a full reveal is anticipated soon. The extended Season 1, which launched November 14th, introduced numerous multiplayer maps, modes, weapons, and events, significantly impacting Warzone with a new movement system, weapons, gameplay changes, and the Area-99 Resurgence map. The season also brought back popular maps like Nuketown and Hacienda.
Black Ops 6, despite a record-breaking launch, has seen a recent player dip, attributed to ongoing cheating concerns in Ranked Play and persistent server issues. Season 2 is expected to revitalize the game. Treyarch has hinted at more classic map remasters, though they've emphasized a focus on original content. Associate Creative Director Miles Leslie previously stated that no Black Ops map is excluded from remaster consideration.
