For fans of Norse mythology and tactical combat, Frima Studio's Northgard: Battleborn has arrived! Currently in early access on Android for US and Canadian players, this isn't a simple re-release. Battleborn introduces fresh gameplay mechanics while retaining the captivating Norse atmosphere of its predecessor.
What to Expect
Northgard: Battleborn centers around intense 3v3 tactical battles. Strategic choices are paramount, beginning with your Warchief selection. Each powerful Viking warrior possesses unique abilities, significantly impacting your battle strategy.
The early access version incorporates a deck-building system. Customize your deck with cards offering spells, buffs, and summonable allies. Careful deck management is crucial for supporting your Warchief and achieving victory against legendary Norse creatures. Strategic thinking and smart card play are essential for success.
Currently available via the Google Play Store in the US and Canada, this early access period allows Frima Studio to gather player feedback and address any bugs, voice-over issues, or optimization problems before the full release. The final game may evolve significantly based on this feedback. A global release date hasn't yet been announced.
