2024年11月26日，Pokémon公司打破了吉尼斯世界纪录中“最长的开箱直播（视频）”类别目前的纪录。此次直播活动是为了庆祝宝可梦集换式卡牌游戏最新扩展包《猩红·紫罗兰—汹涌火花》的发布。
直播邀请了多位知名网络红人，包括Serebii网站站长Joe Merrick以及社交媒体影响者PokeGirl Ranch和Mayplaystv。这场直播在Pokémon的Twitch频道上进行了超过24小时。三位网络红人共打开了1500包增强包，并拆开了其他宝可梦产品。根据Pokémon官方新闻网站的消息，直播结束后，他们总共收集了2万多张卡牌。
Pokémon国际公司市场部高级总监Peter Murphy对这一成就感到非常自豪。“24小时的开包过程令人难以置信，我们很高兴能与优秀的创作者团队一起获得如此令人瞩目的吉尼斯世界纪录称号，”他说道。
尽管直播活动已经结束，但Pokémon粉丝们还有更多惊喜等待着他们。Pokémon官方新闻网站提到，“请关注接下来两周内创作者频道的更多产品赠送活动。”
直播期间收集到的卡牌将被装入卡册中，“将在节日前捐赠给慈善机构，包括英国的Barnardo’s。”
宝可梦集换式卡牌游戏：《猩红·紫罗兰—汹涌火花》发售
宝可梦集换式卡牌游戏的最新扩展包于2024年11月8日正式发售，它将玩家带到了《宝可梦：朱/紫》DLC第二部分《靛蓝圆盘》的主要地点——秘境。扩展包中包含了闪耀的太晶宝可梦ex，包括拥有终极防御技能“金属防御”的阿尔宙斯ex。
这个新的扩展包还包含了标志性的龙系宝可梦，例如帕路奇亚、帝牙卢卡、艾特纳图斯、阿罗拉椰蛋树ex和赤齿鳞ex。为了营造更热带的风情，扩展包中还提供了插图稀有卡和特别插图稀有卡，包括描绘“平静的海浪和温暖的微风”的阿罗拉三地鼠和霏丝。新的太晶宝可梦ex，例如沙奈朵ex和沙漠蜻蜓ex，也加入了这个增强包，为集换式卡牌游戏的玩家们增添了更多选择。
这个新的扩展包也可以通过宝可梦集换式卡牌游戏在线应用程序获得。数字玩家甚至可以通过收集和战斗最新的闪耀太晶宝可梦ex来获得游戏内奖励。
