Spider-Woman Joins Marvel Contest of Champions Amid Lumatrix Threat
Following the epic conclusion of the Dark Phoenix saga, Kabam has unveiled a thrilling new update for Marvel Contest of Champions. This update introduces two dynamic new characters: Spider-Woman and the inaugural Eidol Champion of 2025, Lumatrix. Dive into fresh quests, engage in special events, and explore the latest chapter of Act 9.2, all while collecting valuable rewards.
Spider-Woman swings into action on April 17th, leveraging her spider-enhanced abilities and espionage skills in The Contest. Lumatrix, on the other hand, makes a dazzling debut on April 9th. This assassin, crafted by The Founders, harnesses light manipulation powers that conceal a deadly purpose. To add Lumatrix to your roster, gather Light Essence from Battlegrounds, Saga Incursions, and Raids. The event runs until June 4th.

The new Spy Games quest brings Black Widow and Spider-Woman together to investigate the mysterious arrival of the Eidols. Navigate through a web of danger and deception as these elite spies unravel the sinister truth behind Lumatrix’s light show. The event is available from March 9th to May 7th.
Deadpool joins the fray with Red & Dead’s Discount Shed, running from April 25th to May 2nd. Thanks to Red Guardian's persuasion, Deadpool offers a trove of special rewards, including event currency, crystals, and bonuses. Following closely, the Heart of Fire Sale from May 7th to 14th offers a chance to acquire valuable Champions and rewards through Heart of Fire crystals.
Later this month, the Thunderbolts Daily Super Event will transform the seven-day supply drop, running from April 18th through May 2nd. Achieve milestones to earn Poolshields, which can be redeemed for rewards during Red & Dead’s Discount Shed. Additionally, daily supply drops will be available from April 25th to May 23rd, encouraging regular logins for more free rewards.
