Paradox Focusing On Bug Fixing, Stability, and Performance
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has been pushed back again, with a new release window set for October 2025. The official announcement came via the game's Twitter (X) account on March 26, accompanied by a video update.
In the video, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann provided insight into the current development status. He stated, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."
Over the past few months, Paradox has been engaging fans with Dev Diaries, offering insights into characters, stories, and mechanics. However, to concentrate fully on improving the game, all future Dev Diaries have been put on hold.
First Revealed in 2019
Originally announced in March 2019, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was initially slated for a March 2020 launch. Developed by Hardsuit Labs at the time, the game faced its first delay to an unspecified date in 2020, which was later pushed to 2021.
During this period, the project saw several key team members depart. In February 2021, Paradox Interactive made the decision to shift development from Hardsuit Labs to The Chinese Room. Subsequent release expectations shifted from late 2024 to the first half of 2025, and now to late 2025.
